FAIR Russia Research Centre (FRRC) organizes Seminar «Russian contribution of young scientists to FAIR project»

First announcement

On April, 8 2010 FRRC organizes General Education Seminar for students and PhD students devoted to Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR).

FRRC invites students and post-graduate students who plan to take part in development and maintenance of FAIR and in scientific investigations at the facility to attend series of lectures devoted to FAIR project. Leading Russian scientists will give lectures that focus on various branches of research and applications with heavy ions: accelerator physics, nuclear physics and physics of elementary particles, physics of high energy density in matter and atomic physics. They will present physical programs of FAIR collaborations (PANDA, CBM, NUSTAR, HEDgeHOB, WDM, SPARK, FLAIR) and experimental facilities that will be constructed in frame of the project.

We kindly ask all participants to present poster or essay about physical problem that is most interesting for you and related to FAIR project.

The Seminar will be held in ITEP building 40, Bolshaya Cheremushkinskaya St., 25, Moscow.

Transport expenses and accommodation (ITEP guesthouse) of invented participants will be covered by FRRC (if you submit your application not later than March 22, 2010).
