All-Russia Youth Scientific School “Modern CAD Tools for Designing Mixed-signal (analog-digital) Integrated Circuits for Physical Experimental Equipment”

September 11-14, 2012
National Research Nuclear University “Moscow Engineering Physics Institute”

Dear colleagues!
It is our pleasure to announce, that the All-Russia Youth Scientific School on designing integrated circuits will be held in NRNU MEPHI on September 11-14, 2012. The School is a continuation of the series of methodical workshops (seminars) on IC computer aided design, conducted in NRNU MEPHI in 2009 and 2011 (cad.mephi.ru/cad2011).
The school will take place at support of the RF Ministry on Science and Education, the American Cadence Design Systems Co. (www.cadence.com) and the FAIR-Russia Research Center (FRRC, frrc.itep.ru ).

The aim of the School is to acquaint its participants with the developed by Cadence modern methodology of designing analog-digital ICs and conduct practical master classes in order to popularize the microelectronic CAD in the RF.
The School is split into two events. The first one is destined to overview the advanced means of designing mixed-mode ICs and oriented toward an expert (advanced) level of designers. It will include the Cadence presentations on advanced CAD routes for mixed-signal ICs. Its important part will be the thematic lectures of invited well-known scientists, reflecting state-of-the-arts and last achievements in the field of designing and testing ICs for physical experimental equipment.
The second one is destined to expound the basic principles, used at IC design, and will be useful for a wide range of novice specialists, desiring to master typical design routes and ways of conveyance for manufacture. It will include both a presentation and a practical hands-on (as lab works) component.
At lab work conduction the priority will be given to young specialists under 35.
School attendees, having participated in all its events, are expected to be granted Cadence certificates.
