FRRC announces the course “Introduction into parallel computations on modern many-core computer architectures”. The course will consist of two parts and the lectures will be given by the international expert in this field - Professor Ivan Kisel (info on Prof. I. PART A: 2-4 June 2014 at FRRC Bldg. 40 at ITEP; 3 days-course on:
Introduction to parallel computations on modern many-core computer architectures. This includes: SIMD Single Instruction Multiple Data, Vc Vector classes, ITBB Intel Threading Building Blocks, OpenMP Open Multi-Processing and OpenCL Open Computing Language. A practical course is also included. The course runs over 3 full days and is limited to 20 participants. Participants should have basic level knowledge of programming in C++, including classes, operator overloading and templates.
The course language will be Russian.
Chosen candidates are requested to attend all three days of the lectures. In case of more than 20 candidates we will make a waiting list of 3 fellows. FRRC expects full responsibility of participants to avoid any no-show.
PART B: 16-18 September 2014 at FRRC Bldg. 40 at ITEP; 3 days-course. Part B and its program is to be discussed with participants in June.
