Dear colleagues!
Workshop "Physics of new states of matter at the FAIR accelerator" will be held on September 22-23, 2014 at the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research (Dubna, Moscow reg.)
We invite you and your colleagues to take part in the work of the school.
Following subjects will be discussed:
• The research program in PANDA experiment, simulation of physical processes in proton-antiproton interactions and methods for the detection of particles
• Development of generators for research with beams of antiprotons in the PANDA-Root package
• Polarization studies with beams of antiprotons
• Charmonium production at the FAIR accelerator
• Results of the detector prototype’s tests for the PANDA detector
• Results of FRRC youth teams researches/
The school will include lectures, presentations of young scientists and students.
We invite undergraduate and postgraduate students of Russian universities to participate in the School, as well as young scientists from research institutes of the RAS, State Corporation "Rosatom" and other scientific organizations in Russia. Participants from other cities of the school may be financially supported. The deadline for applications to participate in the School - September 15, 2014.
