A joint scientific and educational event “Physics of high-energy density in matter” will take place in Moscow. It will include, as its first part, a Seminar for Young Scientists “Physics of high energy density in matter” (21.11-22.11.2011) — to be held in the building of the FAIR-Russia Research Centre on the territory of the Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP), and, as its second part, the traditional Scientific-Coordination Session “Non-ideal Plasma Research” (23.11. – 24.11.2011)
All-Russian Education and Methodology Seminar on designing analog-digital (mixed-mode) ICs

By this first circular it is our pleasure to announce the organization of the Seminar, that will be held in Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (State University) (MEPhI) from October 10th to 14th, 2011. The seminar has been held by NNRI MEPhI, sponsored and participated by the Cadence Design Systems Co (www.cadence.com) and the FAIR-Russia Research Center (FRRC, frrc.itep.ru).
FRRC Fellowship 2011
FAIR- Russia Research Center (FRRC) announces the opening of the Third call for applications lasting from 21st of March 2011 till 20th of May 2011.
FRRC provides Master Student fellowships, PhD fellowships and postdoctoral fellowships to enable young scientists to carry out research projects at their institutions in Russian Federation, with Russian and/or European supervising partners that can include some visits to GSI/FAIR. Project proposals must deal with research and development (R&D) related to the International Accelerator Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR) planned at GSI.
