FRRC announces the end of the second student scientific and educational program. In autumn 2013 20 participants of this program attended lectures of the leading specialists from FAIR-partners institutions on the following topics:
- Introduction into FAIR and propaedeutic review of basic concepts and ideas of modern physics;
- Interaction of particles and radiation with matter and particle detectors;
- Physics of condensed baryonic matte and CBM experiment;
- Proton-antiproton spectroscopy of hadrons in PANDA experiment;
- Physical problems and experiments of NUSTAR;
- Physical problems and experiments of APPA;
- Lattice calculations;
- Fundamentals of ion optics and Accelerators;
17 participants successfully defended their scientific works on FAIR and received reward.
