Course of lectures “Introduction into parallel computations on modern many-core computer architectures”

First part of the course of lectures “Introduction into parallel computations on modern many-core computer architectures” took place on the 2-4 June in FRRC. The lectures were given by international expert in this field - Professor Ivan Kisel. The course included lectures on theory and practice. Participants worked on their laptops and used FRRC desktops. Calculations were carried out at FAIR-ITEP supercomputer as well. The lectures were successful.

The second part of the course will take part in the first half of September 2014 in FRRC. The dates will be set later this summer. Also at the second part of the course listeners will decide whether to hold or not the third (additional) part.
