A series of twelve CATIA v5 lessons for 5-th year students of MEPhI chair “Extreme states of Matter” located in ITEP was carried out by FRRC from 11/02/2014 till 29/04/2014. The basic working skills for the most popular workbenches, such as Sketcher, Part Design, Assembly design, Generative Drafting and Photostudio were mastered. Besides, important issues of data transition between different CAD systems, parameterization of the models and usage of macros were studied. Such issues are of interest for future engineers-physicists working in international collaborations.
