Course of lectures on programming on modern multi-core computer architectures, 26-28 of April 2017, Moscow

[sigplus] Critical error: Image gallery folder gallery/Kisel_FRRC_26-28.04.2017 is expected to be a path relative to the image base folder specified in the back-end.

Course of lectures on programming on modern multi-core computer architectures (hereinafter – Course) took place in FAIR-Russia Research Center (hereinafter – FRRC). Young FRRC scientists participated in the Course as well as workers of NRC “Kurchatov Institute” and NRC “Kurchatov Institute” – ITEP.

Program of the Course included lectures on processing of data and physical analysis in high-energy and heavy-ion physics, review of the main approaches and methods of processing and analysis of experimental data as well as features of their usage in modern supercomputer clusters. Participants practiced at FRRC desktops, reviewing examples and performing tasks. The lecturer and his assistant mentioned high involvement of the participants and their huge interest in the presented topics.

Knowledge, gained at the Course, would help participant to do calculations more effectively on modern computers, which is an important part of research.
